Tokina 11-16mm

A couple weeks ago, I picked up the semi-new Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8(Tokina ATX 116 PRO DX) for my D90. I’ve read awesome reviews about it and finally got my hands on it.

I love it, it’s awesome, sharp, and has minimal distortion at 11mm. I tested it out Easter weekend during the kids’ Easter Egg Hunt at a friend’s house.

The photo above was taken with the Tokina 11-16 at f/3.5. No flash was used, some cropping and vignetting was done post processing (in lIghtroom).

  1. Great! I went back and forth between the 11-16 and the 12-24. Availability made me get the 12-24. I love how minimal and easily fixed the distortion is with the lens and I know it is the same with the 11-16. I use mine a lot for interior architecture.
The expression on the little girl’s face is excellent and I like how you captured the light in her eyes.
